He was the beloved husband of Sally (Eaton) Poland for 40 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Muriel (Whitaker) Poland of Riverside and the late Richard D. Poland. Mr. Poland was an electrician and organizer for the IBEW Local 99. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Justin and his wife Danielle, and Ashley Turner and her husband Brian; a grandson, Brenton Turner; and four siblings, Dennis Poland and his wife Susan, Patricia Seddon and her husband David, Timothy Poland and his wife Joy, and Thomas Poland; and a dear friend, John McGillivray.
